Executive Director

The Covenant with North Carolina’s Children, Inc., the State’s premier child advocacy coalition, seeks a 32 hour per week Executive Director, with potential to expand to full time. Position based in Raleigh. Responsibilities include informing and engaging members in work of The Covenant, communicating with members, media and policymakers, fundraising and donor cultivation, coordinating coalition activities to advance State legislative agenda, and managing daily operations including maintenance of member database, website, and files.  Knowledge of public policy process and N.C. General Assembly, superior organizational skills, ability to work with diverse membership and fundraising experience preferred.  Salary range: $32,000-$40,000 depending on benefits package.
